China’s new energy locomotives are exported to Thailand for the first time

International Business News  –  According to a Thai media report on July 18, the first battery-powered locomotive developed by CRRC Dalian Locomotive and Rolling Stock Co., Ltd, to be exported to Thailand was shipped from Tianjin Port to Thailand on July 17. This is the first time that Chinese new energy locomotives have been exported to Southeast Asia.

This model is a new type of passenger and freight general AC drive meter-gauge new energy locomotive developed by CRRC Dalian. The locomotive is driven by pure battery power and has a maximum running speed of 120 kilometers per hour.

CRRC Dalian said that Thailand is located in the fortress of ASEAN, and the pure battery-powered locomotives shipped this time can widely radiate the markets of neighboring countries and drive the market development of the entire Southeast Asia.
