Cambodia received more than 900,000 air inbound passengers in the first seven months

International Business News  –  According to Xin Zhan Sivata, a spokesman for the Cambodian Civil Aviation Secretariat, in the first seven months of this year, Cambodia received 908,059 air inbound passengers, an increase of nearly 500% year-on-year, and a total of 12,550 flights, an increase of about 110% year-on-year.

After Cambodia has contracted and removed non-essential measures and obstacles in accordance with the new normal, Cambodia has seen a gradual increase in the number of flights and air inbound passengers, Xin Zhan Sivata said. At present, the fastest-growing routes are still Phnom Penh-Bangkok-Phnom Penh and Phnom Penh-Singapore-Phnom Penh flights, Xin Zhan Sivata pointed out. As of the end of July this year, a total of 26 airlines have resumed flights, accounting for about 50% of the total number of airlines in 2019, including 6 Chinese airlines. There were 51 airlines operating in 2019, including 16 Chinese airlines.
